Djeco is a French company that produces award winning and eco-friendly toys, craft kits, puzzles, and decor.

"CREATIVITY, BOLDNESS AND PASSION"

The company was established in 1954 by trailblazer Véronique Michel-Dalès, who created a range of hugely successful games for children that were attractive, educational and fun.

Véronique's son, Frederic, revived Djeco in 1989, producing educational games, puzzles and toys that had a strong focus on quality, design, and aesthetics. The range grew considerably, and today, Djeco toys and games are played with by children in over 60 countries.

Beautifully illustrated by talented artists and designers, their range is eclectic and original with close attention to detail and timeless appeal. Not only are the products of high quality, they are also captivating for children; kindling the imagination and fostering a desire to engage and explore through play.

Importantly, Djeco have given careful consideration to their environmental impact :

• They have almost entirely eliminated single-use plastic in their packaging, and the size of the packaging is optimized to reduce unnecessary use of materials.
• They choose high quality materials for their products to extend durability, and 80% of their wood and cardboard products are certified by the FSC® eco-label, meaning they are sustainably sourced.
• Djeco also make use of reclaimed rubberwood where possible.
• All of their cardboard products are printed with renewable vegetable inks.
• As of 2023, 70% of Djeco's transport needs were being met by CMA container ships that run on liquefied natural gas, with a goal of reaching 100% by 2025.
• Djeco's unused stocks are never destroyed but instead are donated to charities.

Djeco toys undergo lengthy and complex tests in accordance with the requirements of the European standard EN71 and REACH regulations. Each production run is checked to ensure that quality and safety consistently meets exacting standards.
